This continuous hot dip coating or also known as electro galvanizing is the main process these carbon steel sheets must go through to produce the coils and galvanized sheets. The process consists of applying zinc through an electrolytic treatment. After the sheet goes through this treatment, a layer of zinc adheres to the base metal through an iron and zinc bonding layer.
